DISTILLERY PROGRAM AND LOCATION Brush Creek Distillery is craft spirits program, quickly becoming known for its' Distilling, Blending, and Trailblazing initiatives. Nestled between the Sierra Madre mountain range and Medicine Bow National Forest, the distillery, is uniquely positioned on The Farm at Brush Creek a immersive, epicurean wonderland, located in south-central Wyoming. The Farm, is part of a 30,000-acre working cattle ranch, that hosts to a collection of world-renowned, luxury lodging properties that make up Brush Creek Ranch Collectively, our program and its' idealylic location, serve as our daily inspiration, and relentless pursuit to produce award-winning spirits, while celebrating the American West.
OPPORTUNITY Independently-owned and operated, the distillery is searching for bright, enthusiastic, self-starters to serve as Seasonal Brand Ambassadors on-site this spring/summer. The position will allow our ideal candidates to work alongside industry veterans, creative talents, and outdoor enthusiast, in a fun, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment. Seasonal Brand Ambassadors will play an active part in direct consumer engagement and brand-building initiatives, aimed at sharing our story, spirits, and elevated experiences across multiple channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Learn the Brush Creek Distillery story, our portfolio/products, and unique industry positioning
- Exhibit expertise and detailed knowledge of the distillery and our spirits offerings, by becoming an active participant in multiple aspects of the distillery's operations
- Promote product knowledge and customer engagement with ranch guest, on & trade partners, and the general public, during Tasting Room/Gift Shop hours and on-site Distillery Experiences
- Actively serve as a representative in our retail environment and various areas of operations to promote the sale of products, merchandise, and positive experiences
- Assist with retail transactions, packaging, and coordination of on-site product delivery
- Support recapping metrics and sales updates to communicate success with our program
- Oversee retail inventory, conduct audits, and communicate needs and/or recommendations
- Assist in staff scheduling, pre-opening preparedness, mid-shift and closing practices
- Serve as a brand ambassador while conducting tastings, educational seminars, and tours
- Strengthen product awareness through storytelling, industry education, and guest interactions to upsell retail offerings and distillery experiences
- Deliver satisfaction and strengthen brand adoption with inspirational testimony
- Increase overall industry knowledge by working closely with management and trade partners to better understand the different channels in three-tier system
- Support management with the interaction of trade influencers & brand-building efforts
- Assist in numerous aspects of brand marketing related to social media, advocacy, guest engagement and trade partnerships and communication
- Provide direct support for VIPs, special events, promotions, and trade visits
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES - Experience related to hospitality management, brand marketing, and sales, and promotions
- Alcohol industry experience preferred
- Passion for the spirits industry, marketing, customer engagement and brand-building
- Charismatic with strong storytelling skills and ability to education and inspire up to 25+ individuals
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Capable of providing effective input related to consumer, trade, and press events
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, adventure, and entrepreneurial spirit
- Creative, high-energy, enthusiasm and a good team player
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Education - College preferred. Internship seekers welcome!
- Ability to relocate to Saratoga, WY for seasonal internship (May - Aug, 2024)
- Ability to travel (as-needed) to support local and regional events/promotions
PREREQUISITES: - 21 Years of Age or Older
- Active driver's license
- Ability to work off-property as-needed
- Availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to provide seasonal employment &/or internship commitment
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule due to the needs of the business
- Must enjoy working in an entrepreneurial, team atmosphere related to the spirits/hospitality industry
- Must be dependable, a self-starter, loyal and honest
SCHEDULE/PAY/BENEFITS - Seasonal Full-Time/Hourly - Commensurate with experience
