Job Summary The Special Education Administrator will collaborate with the school site administrators and other early childhood agencies such as Head Start, private schools, regional centers, and families requesting an assessment for children 0-5 years of age; will participate in IEP meetings, track IEP compliance, and generate reports at site level and agency levels. In addition, the administrator will actively participate in all aspects of preschool-related matters, such as providing professional development and serving on committees.
Requirements / Qualifications REQUIREMENTS:
1. Possession of a valid California Clear Special Education Credential
2. Possession of a California Administrative Services Credential
3. Masters Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, preferably in special education, curriculum or administration
4. Three or more years of successful teaching experience preferably working with severely impaired students
5. Three or more years of successful experience in a responsible administrative position preferred
6. Bilingual ability desirable
