Our Company is seeking an EXPERIENCED Behavioral Health Technician (BHT).
Our ideal candidate will; go the extra mile, be a team player, have prior medical and substance abuse experience providing client-care services in a behavioral healthcare setting, must be a detailed oriented individual with at least two years of experience. Technician is responsible for facilitating meetings and providing structure for, during, and after hours and weekend activities.
Additional Duties:
The Behavioral Health Tech assists in the admission process, answers client questions and assists client in adjusting to the program routine
They are the liaison between the client and the staff to report any changes in the clients physical or mental condition and are responsible for supervising clients with emphasis on client safety and wellbeing. Assists with the admission process on new client admissions and orientation procedures and schedules.
Records Inventory log of all personal belongings, valuables and return ticket. Ticket and valuables to be kept in the safe.
Facilitate all orientation groups with clients. Fills out required lab requisitions per protocol.
Know where clients are at all times. De-escalates AMA and other client problems.
Participate in all staff meetings as scheduled. Provides liaison with staff and other tech to ensure that all clients needs are be met.
Provides supervision of meals, including supervision of servers and clean up crew after each meal. Provide emotional support for clients while referring them to therapy staff to deal with clinical issues.
Complete all assigned paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely manner. Complete incident reports according to policy in a timely, accurate manner.
Communicate with other staff as necessary to promote quality client care. Participate in maintaining clean, properly supplied and efficient work areas.
Complete UA Screen Collection per protocol. Exercise sound professional judgment and seek assistance as necessary to effectively manage client behavior.
Follows all company policies and procedures. Performs other duties assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED is required. DBT training is a plus. Able to accept supervision and support - Must be 21 years of age (valid drivers licensing required) - Overseeing activities and events - Documenting clients information - Assist medical staff as required - Communicate with clients - Assist during emergency situations - Provides for the personal care and comfort of our client -
MS Office experience, computer skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, ability to take direction from others. - Transporting clients - Candidates in recovery are encouraged to apply (Must have 1 year sobriety) - Adhere to facility standards concerning conduct, dress, attendance, and punctuality. - Adheres to all company policies and procedures. - Attends in-service training, when necessary. - Attitude demonstrates a positive approach and commitment reflecting professionalism and ethical standards. - Willingness to adapt to a constantly changing environment. -
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or director. MUST have own transportation and hold a valid driver's license. Applicants must maintain a flexible schedule, shift differential for overnight employees Hourly wage to be determined based on experience and flexibility. Understanding of treatment and or of the 12-step recovery process.

Schedules Available:
1st (7 am-3pm) scheduled days would be developed with Managment.
2nd (3 pm-11:00 pm); scheduled days would be developed with Management.
3rd (11:00pm-7:00am); scheduled days would be developed with Management.
Flexible availability and ability to work overtime, required.
