We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Carrier Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the transportation and freight industry. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of freight.

Requirements:

Role Responsibilities

1. Identify, prospect, and onboard potential carrier partners to expand the company's network.

2. Negotiate competitive rates and contractual agreements with carriers.

3. Provide support during RFP process to provide pricing and capacity information and guidance.

4. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new carriers.

5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate transportation of freight.

6. Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.

7. Provide excellent customer service to carriers and internal stakeholders.

8. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

9. Utilize industry software and tools to manage and optimize carrier relationships.

Required Skills

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.

2. Proven experience in carrier sales or a similar role in the transportation and logistics industry.

3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.

4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

5. Familiarity with industry software and tools (e.g., TMS, CRM, etc.).

6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

7. Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
