Triple Cities Metal Finishing is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Controller to oversee our financial operations. This pivotal role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting while supporting our growth and innovation.

Since 1945, TCMF has made innovative, as well as necessary changes in the way we conduct everyday business. From advanced surface preparation to highly technical finishing processes, we can handle the smallest pieces to large parts over 30 feet long.

Our three shifts of skilled professionals in our 125,000 square foot facility have made us the vendor of choice for metal finishing for Northeastern United States. Whether it is electroplating, electroless plating, wet paint, or powder coat, we finish it right the first time!

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Lead the month-end closing process, preparing financial statements for various entities for review by the company president, owners, and outside auditors.
• Account Analysis: Perform detailed monthly analyses of general ledger account activity, including journal entries, accruals, variances to forecast, and reconciliation of various accounts.
• Fixed Asset and Benefit Administration: Manage fixed asset administration and various employee benefit accounting tasks.
• Accounts Supervision: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks with proper segregation of duties.
• Tax Compliance: Provide support for tax compliance as needed.
• Treasury Functions: Handle bank reconciliations and various treasury functions, including cash flow management between multiple bank accounts and entities.
• Year-End Closing: Manage the year-end closing process and assist in preparing and reviewing audit work papers for year-end audits.
• Balance Sheet Management: Complete and oversee mid-year balance sheet tie-outs.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in the annual budget process, interim forecasting, and cost analyses.
• Departmental Analysis: Prepare detailed departmental financial analyses.
• Policy Compliance: Assist in executing company policies and compliance procedures.
• Grant Funding: Support efforts to obtain federal and state grant funding where available.
• Additional Duties: Undertake other corporate accounting duties or supervise assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, with advanced Excel skills including database concepts, data filtering, and financial functions.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience in auditing or tax.

Total Compensation Package:

• Wage
  • $80,000-$100,000 Compensation depends on the selected candidate's experience.
