About The Team:

The Director of Supply Chain will direct Materials/Inventory Management, Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse and Distribution of Finished Goods. Develops and implements strategies to ensure that critical processes run effectively, efficiently and achieve organizational goals and performance OKRs. The ideal candidate possesses an abundance of energy, exceptional analytical skills, proven track record meeting supply-chain challenges of a fast-paced high-tech medical device start-up. This position is responsible for nurturing and mentoring of direct reports and team members and developing good relationships with vendors, and contractors across a geographically diverse and complex sourcing landscape.

A Day In The Life Of Our Director of Supply Chain:

  • Participate in the company long-term strategy planning and translate company strategy into actionable short-term goals.
  • Direct the Purchasing Team, Materials/Inventory Team and Planning to control, deliver, and distribute products and materials globally.
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality and Finance teams to negotiate with vendors on optimal contracts and pricing.
  • Work closely with sales and service leadership to better understand customer needs and future growth demands.
  • Proactively plan, build and manage team and culture to support the organization's growth.
  • Provide strategic supply chain guidance for cost reduction and company expansion.
  • Proactively put in place processes to provide an effective and efficient supply chain department.
  • Establish KPI’s for supplier performance and conduct quarterly business reviews with key suppliers.
  • Ensure suppliers are scaling with Noah and they can meet both short and long term growth demands.
  • Manage Inventory Turns as required by quarterly cashflow goals.
  • Use data monitoring analytics to evaluate past performances and trends.
  • Forecast and optimize inventory to meet distribution requirements.
  • Optimize the application of the ERP system for company needs.

About You:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in supply chain/materials management role with increasing responsibility/accomplishments in the following areas: Production/Inventory Control, Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse and Distribution Management.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills and written and verbal communication.
  • Exceptional knowledge regarding the technical sourcing of high-tolerance/high-tech components fabricated such as PCBA fabrication, plastics/metal injection molding, metal fabrication, laser fabrication, extrusions and sterilization packaging.
  • Demonstrated experience/accomplishments regarding successful contract negotiation/partnership with OEM/CMs with particular focus regarding year-over-year improvement of Cost, Quality, Delivery, and Service metrics.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining NetSuite preferred.
  • Experience in a medical device company is preferred.
  • Travel up 30% domestically and internationally.
