GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Our CAD Technician's are responsible for preparing production drawings, small scale erection drawing revisions, and project logistics used for fabrication and installation of precast concrete products. Our drafters also supports the internal scheduling for project requirements and deadlines. Enjoy a great team environment.
Compensation ranges based on experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Maintaining Project data flow from the Revit Model to Concrete Vision
- Revises erection drawings as necessary
- Create/revise individual pour sheets for Production to produce each piece needed
- Maintain Project Flow, following target dates as established by the Design &Engineer Team.
- Follows departmental standards and practices.
- Complete Wells training as required
KEY REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, & QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or GED
- 2-4 year drafting degree preferred
- Ability to use Revit along with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and other computer software programs
- Interpersonal communication skills to work in a team setting, as well as in 1-on-1 environment
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
- General math skills and ability to read blueprints and plans
- Basic understanding of general construction practices
- Ability to meet deadlines and follow project schedules
- Motivation and self-drive required to complete a task
- Organizational and time management skills
