JOB MISSION:

The Global Senior Marketing Manager, Lifestyle, will lead the marketing vision and Go To Market ('GTM') strategy for the commercial Lifestyle business at New Balance, working hand in hand with the Product and Merchandising teams, from initial creation throughout the GTM process and launch, with the objective of driving continued cultural relevance and commercial scale with the Global Independent. This role is based at the New Balance Boston headquarters.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Lead the development and execution of Global Lifestyle GTM vision and plan, in partnership with the Product and Merchandising teams, the Energy and Collaboration teams, the Global Key Account team and the Entertainment team. Be the champion of the Lifestyle mission and vision to ensure all communications and activation maintain the integrity and positioning of the category. Own all briefs for Lifestyle Game Plan stories, pulling in all channel stakeholders throughout the GTM process to deliver holistic full funnel marketing plans, that align to and support the product lifecycle plans of 'incubate, launch and sustain'. Identify, assign and manage relevant agencies to deliver on the briefs. Partner with Entertainment and Sports Marketing to integrate NB ambassadors into our product storytelling in authentic and culturally relevant ways. Manage and be accountable for the Global Lifestyle Game Plan marketing budget. Manage a team of 2, with potential for growth. REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS: Minimum 10 years of industry experience preferably in the fashion/athleisure space. A strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate and recognize cultural and consumer trends 2-3 years ahead. Strong commercial understanding of the Global sneaker and fashion market and cultural landscape. Proven experience managing a team, and ability to manage across Global and International marketing and product, and other cross functional teams. Knowledge of product development processes and considerations. Leadership skills with the ability to influence. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential. Proven ability to leverage insights and data to help shape strategy. Superior communication skills, especially presentation skills. Proficiency in project management across multiple stakeholders both internally and externally. A network of key influential leaders and retailers in the cultural, fashion and sneaker worlds across key Global regions (EMEA, North America, Japan, APAC and China). Travel required as needed.
