Position Summary:

The Marketing & Demo Coordinator Designer position will play a key role in managing, prioritizing, and executing multiple projects in the department. Projects include meeting with departments and vendors to discuss (and sell) our marketing programs, managing and scheduling our in-store demo program, invoicing and maintaining budgets, and assisting with designing print and digital publications. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn our products and apply that knowledge towards building successful campaigns for the company and vendor.

Essential Functions:

• Scheduling and managing national campaign events

• Design print publications to support our Wholesale and Retail locations

• Develop digital assets to be used with Mailchimp, Stripo, Facebook and Instagram

• Plan and execute cross-channel campaigns

• Knowledgeable in printing processes (CMYK Process vs. Spot, vector vs. raster, bleed, trim, etc.)

• Supervise project status, ensuring accuracy and following up with other departments on missing components

• Proofread department work and get approval from appropriate personnel before submitting files to vendors

• Follow up to confirm department has all final print versions of artwork

• Maintain budgets and marketing assets in appropriate backup locations

Requirements:

• Ability to listen to needs of the client and propose solid solutions, overcome hurdles, and obtain stakeholder buy-in

• Graphic Design related field/experience or field of study

• 1-2 years’ experience in publication design preferably in food industry products

• 1-2 years’ experience in digital mediums including email and social media campaigns

• Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills plus deadline orientated

• Strong multi-tasking, interpersonal and presentation capability

• Attention to detail with superb quality control practices

• Working knowledge of product photography, studio lighting, and photo editing a plus

• Love of cooking and restaurant foodservice knowledge a definite plus!

• Must be able report to office M-F

- Supervise daily activities of the picking and loading management within a cold storage facility.
- Monitor and ensure accurate execution of processes to meet operational goals, considering the challenges of cold storage.
2. Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor supervisors, and warehouse staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and coaching to address performance issues and ensure professional growth.
3. Performance Analysis:
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate the distribution center's productivity and efficiency in a cold storage context.
- Identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and develop action plans accordingly.
4. Inventory Management:
- Collaborate with the Logistics team to manage inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and reduce carrying costs, taking into account the challenges of cold storage.
5. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, especially within the unique cold storage environment.
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing proper safety protocols and conducting regular safety training.
6. Process Improvement:
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer service within a cold storage context.
- Implement best practices, technology solutions, and automation to drive process improvements.
