MARKETING MANAGER - DIGITAL
*This position can be remote from Austin, Dallas, or Denver.*
SUMMARY
Develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels. This role will coordinate initiatives across a variety of advertising channels, lead market research efforts, and evaluate marketing campaigns for corporate, stabilized communities, and lease-up communities. The ideal candidate will have the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and bring their unique talents to enhance our marketing team. This is a hands-on technical role, we are looking for a candidate with the expertise to manage the back end of campaign platforms such as Google, Meta, etc., manage our digital vendors, as well as a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills.
OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE
Handle strategic online initiatives to support communities and corporate including digital advertising and reputation management
Build and maintain all digital advertising, including SEO/SEM, Internet Listing Services, social media for communities, and corporate
Manage email marketing initiatives including newsletters, promotions, etc.
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Maintain consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms
Current with emerging technologies and tactics in the digital marketing environment
Conduct A/B testing for new initiatives and produce reports
Oversee our digital platform to continue to optimize performance and utilize new features across all our leasing tools
Support operations to assist each community in achieving their leasing goals by providing insight on all digital campaigns and offer recommendations
Develop and publish monthly digital marketing reports for communities
Conduct training for our onsite teams to build their skills and understanding of digital marketing tactics and metrics
TASKS Provide expertise on digital marketing best practices, testing and optimization; drive results in planning and manage end-to-end campaigns
Brainstorm new and creative digital growth strategies
Setup and maintain digital campaigns
Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
Test new features in CRM to support new tactics/features
Use advanced metrics to measure the success of a marketing campaign
Manage software platforms and vendors used for the website, email marketing, and integration with our CRM
Negotiate advertising contracts
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
Five or more years of experience in digital marketing and advertising
Experience managing marketing campaign budgets +$1M
Google certifications: GA4, Business, Search, Display, Video, Shopping Ads, Apps, and Measurement
Certified in Meta Blueprint Ad platform - Media Buying Professional
Experience with Hubspot and customer database management
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
Understands website metrics and best practices
Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Familiar with financial planning and strategy
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools e.g. Google Analytics
Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines
Working knowledge of ad serving tools
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
REMOTE REQUIREMENTS Occasional in-person visits to San Antonio, TX Corporate office and/or visits to strategic markets with advance notice
Participate in on-camera meetings in professional attire and workspace
Work hours may be flexible but must accommodate the needs of the San Antonio, TX Corporate office
