Job Description
The Employee Parking Lot Attendant (Outside) manages and maintains the employee parking lot at a designated location. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of the parking lot, providing excellent customer service to employees, and ensuring the security of parked vehicles. The attendant will monitor the parking lot, enforce parking regulations, and assist employees with parking-related concerns.
1. Parking Lot Management:
•Oversee the daily operations of the employee parking lot, ensuring its cleanliness and functionality.
•Direct employees to available parking spaces and ensure efficient parking space utilization.
•Maintain accurate records of vehicles parked in the lot and monitor parking durations.
2. Customer Service:
•Provide employees with friendly and professional customer service, addressing their parking-related inquiries and concerns.
•Assist employees with locating available parking spaces and offer guidance on parking regulations and procedures.
•Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and escalate complex problems to the appropriate personnel.
3. Security and Safety:
•Maintain a safe and secure parking environment by monitoring the premises regularly.
•Report any suspicious activities or security breaches to the appropriate authorities.
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures, such as fire lane restrictions and emergency access points.
4. Enforcement of Parking Regulations:
•Enforce parking rules and regulations, including permit requirements, designated parking areas, and time limits.
•Issue warnings or citations for parking violations, following established protocols and guidelines.
•Coordinate with relevant departments or personnel to address repeated or unauthorized parking violations.
5. Traffic Control:
•Direct and manage traffic flow within the parking lot during peak periods or special events.
•Assist in organizing parking arrangements for scheduled company events or gatherings.
•Collaborate with security personnel or law enforcement agencies during emergencies or evacuations.
6. Maintenance and Repairs:
•Monitor the parking lot's condition, reporting any damages, maintenance needs, or hazards to the appropriate department.
•Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure repairs or cleaning tasks are carried out promptly.
•Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing bulbs in parking lot lights or clearing debris from walkways.

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a customer service or parking lot attendant role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees.
- Ability to handle difficult or stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and generating reports
- Knowledge of parking regulations and traffic control procedures.
- Physical stamina to walk and stand for extended periods and ability to lift/move heavy objects when required.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as per operational needs.
