job summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pega Technical Lead to join our team. This role requires expertise in Pega development and architecture, with a focus on building and leading a development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in call center or contact center environments and a strong background in Pega solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pega Development & Architecture: Design, develop, and implement Pega applications, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other team members. Lead by example in coding practices, system design, and problem-solving.

  • Team Building: Recruit, train, and manage a team of Pega developers and other technical staff. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure that solutions align with client expectations and project goals.

  • Project Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resources. Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and best practices in Pega development and deployment.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and code. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and project managers.
Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Pega development, with a proven track record of leading Pega projects and teams.

  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Pega PRPC, Pega BPM, and related technologies. strong understanding of Pega architecture, design, and implementation.

  • Call Center/Contact Center Experience: Experience working in or with call center or contact center environments is highly desirable.

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and build a team, with strong mentoring and coaching abilities.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Problem-Solving: strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Pega are a plus.
Additional Information:

  • Travel: Occasional travel to MA is required.

  • Team Growth: There is potential for direct hire and permanent placement for the right candidate, with opportunities to grow and lead a team.

  • Location Preference: Candidates located in EST or CST time zones are preferred.
