Job Description
This position will be a member of our oil and gas Production Accounting team supporting Production Operations, responsible for assisting in all production accounting, as well as, field data capture, comparison and analysis for all regions operated by our company.
Responsibilities: - Responsible for day-to-day processing of all oil and gas production.
- Assist in set up and maintaining complex production allocation networks.
- Ensure timely filing of operations and regulatory filings in Texas and Louisiana.
- Assist in volume upload/ entry of over 1,000 operated WI properties.
- Oversee daily and monthly integration from ProCount/Merrick to EU/Oracle.
- Proactively monitor variance reports to identify and resolve any volumetric discrepancies.
- Validate and reconcile oil invoices/statements to daily/monthly trucking tickets.
- Validate and reconcile off load systems with sales tickets.
- Validate production accounting data inputs, including trucked product reconciliations.
- Update production accounting master file in compliance with regulatory standards, measurement plan approvals and operating conditions.
- Assist in SWD allocations and filing of P-18.
- Other projects as needed.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business/Finance or applicable industry experience, required.
- 3+ years' experience oil and gas production accounting, preferred.
- Field data capture system experience, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, EU/Oracle, Merrick, ProCount and eVin.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented approach and the ability to prioritize workflow and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task, analyze and identify variances.
