The hiring company is a top independent consulting and program management firm exclusively focused on capital project planning and delivery. They perform some of the top, most competitive projects and are seeking a Project Manager with experience managing healthcare projects. The corporate office is located in Rome, Georgia, and predominately allows for remote work, unless traveling to project sites and meetings!

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Performs management and consulting services as assigned ensuring project continues on schedule and within budgetary and quality requirements.

• Ensures documentation relative to outstanding issues, change orders and requests for information are appropriately maintained and tracked.
• Tracks and controls construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and monies allocated avoiding unnecessary delays and cost overruns.
• Anticipates potential issues and provides recommendations to ensure project remains or is brought back within designed parameters.
• Utilizes standards for cost estimating, project scheduling and reporting.
• Works with client to ensure effective regulatory agency relations and planning to expedite project design approval and permitting processes.
• Monitors and maintains the overall goals and objectives of the program.
• Ensures that all projects are delivered according to our Standards of Practice.

2. Ensures effective communications and a collaborative work environment. When leading projects, the position will provide management and oversight. When a team member, will help develop tools and reports.

• May manage the activities of the delivery teams associated with specific project assignment.
• Prepares, develops and maintains program budgets, schedules and status reports.
• Implements protocols for content and presentation of project schedules.
• With client, may co-lead project management meetings.

3. Provides oversight and management of external vendors.

• Prepares RFPs and RFQs and participates in the selection of AEC vendors.
• May oversee performance of all trade contractors and reviews plans to ensure standards of building performance, quality, cost schedules and safety are maintained.
• Supervises construction site and vendor progress.
• Reviews project delivery team members invoices and applications for payment for compliance with all contracts.
