We are looking for students who are interested in gaining real-world experience to be part of our development group as a Software Development Summer Intern located in Round Rock, TX.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be - Work with senior Emerson Technology team mentors and industry experts on a project with a direct, meaningful impact on team productivity, product quality, product development code, and/or future research and development
- Implement internal tools, prototypes of new functionality, or other projects related to Emerson product development
- Create designs, develop code, unit test, and integration test your own or others' software

For This Role, You Will Need - Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university entering either their junior, senior, or graduate year.
- Pursuing a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related STEM degree.
- Experience and interest in programming in languages such as C, C++, C#, and Embedded Development for programmable controllers.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
