An exciting opportunity, the Sr. Global Product Marketing Manager reports into the Vice President of New Innovations portfolio, has come available for a results-driven and creative marketing professional with extensive experience in professional marketing, brand building, and market activations to maintain and strengthen our position as the most recognized brand in the dental industry.

This role is a strategic marketing role that integrates both upstream and downstream marketing activities (heavy on the downstream side). The primary objective is to drive volume, growth, market share, and profit of new innovations in alignment with global business goals and priorities.

The role will work closely with the New Innovation product managers to lead the development, execution, and growth of Align Technology's New Innovation product portfolio. The individual must serve as the voice of the customer and sales partner advocate in understanding the behavior of the target audience and acting as a brand solutions manager to expand the market adoption and share and improve the overall brand perception.

In this role, you will...
  • Lead the adoption of New Technology products among doctors, focusing on differentiation and enhancing the doctor and patient experience.
  • Serve as the global product evangelist and business champion for innovative products' adoption.
  • Work closely with product management team to manage end-to-end marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives globally.
  • Equip regional marketing, clinical and sales teams with the necessary knowledge and tools to promote product adoption.
  • Conduct monthly follow ups with doctors for market trends and turn these insights into action to drive adoption.
  • Generate/write/edit clinical evidence for the new innovations for both doctor and staff consumption, in various channels.
  • Partner with New Innovation product managers to lead commercial cross-functional teams through the entire lifecycle of new initiatives, from inception to post-launch. This includes planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure business goals are met.
  • Capture and integrate the "voice of the customer" into product solutions, staying updated with the evolving clear aligner market and competitive offerings.
  • Influence and drive business goals through strategies focused on customer acquisition, development, and retention.
  • Be expert on the competitive products and keep the managed product/portfolio several steps ahead of the industry standards.
  • Drive superiority claim strategy and obtain claims on a timely manner.
  • Conduct market research and/or partner with Global Insights team to identify customer needs, trends, and competitive landscape. Analyze data and feedback to make informed decisions on product features and enhancements.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Partner with clinical education and clinical affairs teams to drive clinical education and clinical adoption.

In this role, you'll need ...
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 6-10 years of global marketing/product management experience
  • Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercialization, customer adoption, product marketing strategy and product life cycle management.
  • Be passionate about digital dental healthcare, strong customer focus, and an advocate for customer needs.
  • Excellent, precise, and concise communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven strategic planning with an understanding of the market and competition.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams by influence by clearly articulating a vision that's in line with customer needs.
  • A deep understanding of technology, software development, or other relevant technical aspects.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of driving product development and launch initiatives to successful outcomes.
  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels in an organization.
  • Self-starter that shows initiative, takes action, and maintains ownership.
  • Thinks strategically and uses sound judgment.

Primary Location Base Salary Range: $166,800 to $190,700 USD

Base salary ranges are a guideline used to determine appropriate pay. Placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically. For field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable commission plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
