Description
Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Driver to join their team where they celebrate the commitment, dedication, and achievements of their employees! The ideal candidate will be working for one of the world’s leading manufacturers of refrigerated, dry freight and flatbed trailers. This is a Direct Hire position that offers good pay and excellent benefits.
Description
-General warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed
-Effectively and Efficiently complete job duties
-Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
-Update Product knowledge
-Familiarity with merchandise location in warehouse
-Fill customer orders by retrieving material from the warehouse and other locations
-Inventory - Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material
-Maintain inventory properly organized
-Perform cycle counts, assist in year-end inventories for various branch locations
-Operate a forklift, pallet jack and/or wire-cutting machine. Requires passing the forklift test.
-Load/Unload and Pick-ups as necessary using company vehicle
-Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
-Safely tolerate heat in summer and cold in the winter.
-Inspection of vehicle and/or forklift as required. Keep truck presentable, clean as needed
Requirements
-High School Diploma or Equivalent
-Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills
-Safety Awareness at all times
-Valid Driver’s License and Clean DMV Record
-Professional, Ethical, Courteous, Respectful with Clients at all times
-Organized and Attention to Detail and Ability to follow instructions
-Good Math skills
