Summary: To perform a variety of skilled work in the repair and installation of electronic locks, camera and fire alarm hardward.
Essential Duties - Performs skilled installation of door, camera and fire alarm hardward.
- Determine if electronic equipment needs to be repaired or replaced.
- Operate and maintain a variety of electronics repair and maintenance tools and equipment.
- Undetstand the Federal, State and Local life safety codes and regulations.
- Understands computers and locksmith, camera and fire alarm software.
- Performs any other related duties as assigned which may include installation of cable runs.
- Knoweldge of Open Options DNA fusion software program.
Education and Experience: Minimum - High School diploma or GED, supplemented by specialized electronic tranining or related fields.
- Two years of responsible Electronic locksmith, Camera and Fire Alarm experience.
Desired - Specialized locksmith training.
- Five years of responsible locksmith experience.
- Valid NC State License
Licensing / Certification Requirements: - Possession of a license by the NC Locksmith Licensing Board or the ability to obtain within one year from date of hire.
- Possession of an appropriate valid driver's license.

Panic bars, 5800 alarmed exit hardware, 80 series Exit device flat bar. 90 series exit device round bar. These bars have mortise versions and vertical rod version. Trim handles have mechanical versions not just pulls. Closers, 2900 fireguard, 351 electromechanical closers.
Schlage - cylindrical series locks A series, Dserico lever cylindrical AL series, L series, deadlocks B series.
Cabinet and drawer locks CL series
Padlocks PL series, 16 different keyways
